빛과 그림자

동네 인근 산책 하다가 찍은 사진

햇빛 아래 마냥 밝게 나온 사진보다 그림자가 적절히 있는 사진이 맘에 든다. 빛과 그림자가 동시에 적절히 있어야 더 입체적으로 보이기 때문이다. 그리고 그것이 좋은 이유 또 하나, 좋아 보이는 것 뒤에는 언제나 그에 상응하는 대가가 따른다는 세상 이치를 마치 자연이 고스란히 보여주는 것 같다.

I prefer pictures with appropriate shadows over ones that appear overly bright under the sun. It's because having both light and shadows in the right balance creates a more three dimensional effect. And another reason why it's good is that it seems that nature shows the world's logic that there is always a corresponding cost behind what looks good.
